Lifesteps program offered at PAHCS

We will have a free informational meeting on the Lifesteps Weight Loss Program on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Blakely Room at the Paynesville Area Health Care System.

Lifesteps is geared to help people lose weight while concentrating on lifestyle changes in the following areas:
• Learn to eat nutritious foods and monitor eating habits

• Become more physically active

• Deal with emotional stress

• Use of a group setting for education and motivation

The Lifesteps program encourages a slow weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week. The lifestyle changes you make are permanent.

Classes will begin Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. and run for 14 weeks, followed by a two-month maintenance every other week. Each class lasts one hour and is geared to different educational topics.
