19th Annual Bowl for Hospice

The 19th Annual Bowl for Hospice will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Koronis Lanes in Paynesville from noon until 5 p.m. At this event in 2001, $23,919.26 was raised to benefit the Hospice program.

All funds raised are used for direct patient care to supplement care and services not covered by third party payers, such as insurance. Pledges raised will remain in the local Rice Hospice service areas of Appleton, Benson, Dawson, Granite Falls, Montevideo, Ortonville/Graceville, Paynesville, and Willmar.

League bowlers, businesses, youth groups, and the general public are encouraged to bowl or collect pledges and turn them in the day of the Bowl for Hospice. In Paynesville, interested bowlers and nonbowlers may pick up pledge forms at the Rice Hospice office located in the former Integrated Health Center building at 645 Lake Ave., or at Koronis Lanes in Paynesville.
