JOB FUNCTION:     Develop treatment plans based on assessments and resident interests. Plan, organize, direct, and participate in treatment programs and activities to facilitate resident rehabilitation and prevent further medical problems. Will observe, analyze, and record resident participation, reactions and progress during activities and modify as needed. Use critical thinking, logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems/situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Certification in Therapeutic Recreation or NCAPP or willing to become certified within one year.

2. Must be creative – musical talent is a plus

3. Able to perform assessments and develop treatment plans and modify as needed.

4. Able to write and speak effectively to convey information

5. Must be a team player

6. Computer literate

7. Able to manage own time and the time of others

8. Customer and personal service oriented

9. Good driving record
