Rising to the call from the public for more control of their laboratory testing, Paynesville Area Health Care Laboratory is offering a new service called Direct Lab Access.
Direct Lab Access is offered for those who desire to obtain testing as a wellness monitor or do not see a health care provider on a regular basis. If you have found that your insurance or Medicare coverage does not pay for a screening test or want testing for a personal condition, Direct Lab Access may offer that option.
No doctor's order is required since results are sent directly to the customer ordering the test. The laboratory does not send results to your physician. You are encouraged to share them with your health care provider.
Testing is available Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8 a.m to noon. DLA testing is also available at all PAHCS satellite clinics during their normal business hours.
Direct Lab Access testing is not meant to take the place of regular medical care by a Healthcare Provider.
For Direct Lab Access testing report directly to the lab for patient registration.
