Direct Lab Access Direct Lab Access is offered for those who desire to obtain testing as a wellness monitor or do not see a health care provider on a regular basis. If you have found that your insurance or Medicare coverage does not pay for a screening test or want testing for a personal condition, Direct Lab Access may offer that option.
