Paynesville Area Health Care System is a district-owned health care organization that serves the central Minnesota communities of Paynesville, Belgrade, Cold Spring, Eden Valley, Richmond, Spicer and Watkins. Located in the beautiful lake portion of Stearns County, Paynesville Area Health Care System is comprised of acute, long term, assisted and independent senior housing with services, outpatient services, specialty care clinic and seven medical clinics that surround our hospital in Paynesville.
Our acute care hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital with inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency services, pharmacy and rehabilitation services. Our birthing suite wing provides state of the art OB services for expecting families. Attached to the hospital is a 57 bed skilled nursing home and independent senior apartment complex.
Seven family care clinics service the 25 mile radius of Paynesville, providing convenient care to Belgrade, Eden Valley, Cold Spring, Paynesville, Richmond, Spicer and Watkins communities. Rehab outpatient services are available at several of our clinics.
Our Specialty Clinic has relationships with specialty physicians who serve unique medical needs and offer local residents access to see over 60 specialists in Paynesville each month in the medical areas of: Audiology, Allergy, Back Pain, Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Neurology, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Radiology, Rheumatology, Sleep Apnea, Urology and General Surgery.
